Filema brings local businesses and brands to people hosting gatherings in Athens: Christmas tables, New Year's Eve parties, name days, birthdays, brunches and vasilopita cuttings. Your products are tried in a real social setting, at the moments people photograph and share, and you hear what guests think. In this small holiday pilot you choose which screened gatherings to offer free samples to; hosts usually pick them up from your shop.

More than sampling
Traditional sampling hands products out and hopes people like them. With Filema, your products are shared at real gatherings, and you hear back from the people who tried them.
People who actually try it
Your products are tried by people at birthdays, family meals, brunches and fitness groups, not handed to passers-by.
You choose where they go
Pick gatherings from a screened shortlist by type, date, size and age groups.
Honest feedback
Guests rate what they tried, say whether they'd consider buying it and what they liked. The host sends a short recap of every gathering, sometimes with photos or posts.
Clear numbers
How many guests got it, how many answered, ratings and buying interest, per gathering and in total.
Photos and posts
Gatherings get photographed and shared. If the host posts about your product, they say clearly that it was a gift, and their recap links to the posts. Guests may share photos too. We can't promise posts or reach.
How it works for businesses
See a shortlist
We read every application and send you a private link to a short list of gatherings: type, date, size, age groups and the host's own description. Never names or contact details.
Choose what fits
Answer Interested or Not now within 2 days of a gathering appearing on your list. If you are interested and the host agrees, we arrange a day for them to pick up the products from your shop. No shop? You can send or bring them instead.
Get honest feedback
Within 7 days, the host sends a short recap of how the gathering went, whether or not guests answer anything. Guests can also give anonymous feedback with a 30-second QR form; that is voluntary, so the number of answers varies. You see everything on your own page, with the number of answers behind every figure.
What you get
- real gatherings in Athens between 5 December and 8 February, each with at least 10 adult guests
- a recap from the host of every gathering you give products to, whether or not guests answer: how many guests got the product, how it was used, and links to any posts
- guests' anonymous answers, when guests choose to give them: ratings, whether they would consider buying, what they liked and their comments, per gathering and in total
We cannot promise posts, reach or sales. The results show what guests said, not what they bought.
What we ask of you
- answer within 2 days for each new gathering on your list
- have the products ready for pickup on the agreed day, or send or bring them in time if you have no shop
- suggest a few "what did you like" options for the guest questions, if you want to
This pilot has no fees and no accounts. Alcohol brands are not part of it.
Questions from businesses
Does it cost anything?
No. There are no fees in this pilot. You only cover your own products (and their delivery, if you send them).
Who are the hosts?
People in Athens hosting a real gathering between early December and early February with at least 10 adult guests: Christmas and New Year's Eve gatherings, birthdays, family gatherings, baby showers, brunches, dinner parties and other celebrations. Children may come too: the age groups show it. We read every application before it reaches you.
Do we get the hosts' contact details?
Only what the handover needs, and only if you are interested and the host agrees: for a pickup, the host's first name and the day they'll come; for a delivery, a name and address. Everything before that is anonymous.
Can we decide what to offer?
Yes: samples for guests to try, products for the gathering, or a product experience, such as specialty coffee at a brunch. You decide what and how much, and you have them ready for pickup (or send or bring them, if you have no shop). Please tell us if a product has age limits or allergens hosts should know about.
What are guests asked?
A rating from 1 to 5, whether they would consider buying, what they liked (you can suggest the options) and an optional comment. It takes about 30 seconds, it is anonymous, and nobody has to answer.
What if guests don't answer?
You still get the host's recap: every host agrees to send it within 7 days of the gathering, whatever the guests do. Guests' answers come on top of it, and nobody has to answer.
Can alcohol brands take part?
No. Alcohol products are not part of this pilot.
We're a small bakery or café. Is this for us?
Yes. The pilot is made for small local businesses as much as for larger brands. You could, for example, offer koulourakia for guests to try or the cake for a celebration, and choose the gatherings that suit you. There are no fees in this pilot.
